Who We Are
We are the rebirth of the Electronic Instrument Company, bringing the legendary sound and unsurpassed quality of EICO amplifiers to a new generation of audiophiles. Our flagship amplifier, the HF-60 Mk.II, embodies all of the warmth and musicality of its "Golden Age" namesake, performance that can only be achieved through its classic ultra-linear, push-pull design. The HF-60 Mk.II is a monoblock, rated for 60 watts of continuous power, 130 watts peak, and is designed for the flawless reproduction of today's analog and digital recordings. It's enormous reserve power, excellent transient response, and exceptional stability result in effortless response to peak power demands, deep and well-defined bass, clean treble, and unsurpassed clarity.

EICO originally was established in New York City in 1945 by Harry Ashley, a radio repair business owner who manufactured electronic test equipment in kit form. By the early 1950s, EICO began manufacturing hi-fi equipment and by the late '60s, the company offered a full line of tuners, preamplifiers, and amplifiers. The most noted of these was the HF-60, described by audio enthusiasts both then and now "as near perfect as it gets." Today, we're continuing Harry's mission to bring the very best in audio reproduction to you. Our HF-60 Mk.II stays true to the original's British Mullard circuit, including a genuine Ultra-Linear output stage that captures the warmth and musicality of the original ACRO TO-330 output transformer. It offers the best of today's reliability and production standards in a truly classic design.
